College Football Report - Jimmy Fallon Gives Oregon Ducks Own 'Power Ballad'

There are a lot of circumstances that can give a team an upper hand in a big game such as the National Championship. The weather can affect a team, the travel and away time, any injuries, really a countless number of situations that can work against one team, and for another.

Jealously of course, as well. How? How about one team having their very own ‘power ballad.’ That’s exactly what the University of Oregon will have behind them when they take on Auburn, Monday night.

It worked for Miami (FL) when their 2001 team was backed by No Good’s ‘Ballin Boys’ (Miami remix). The ‘Canes went on to win the National Championship over Nebraska. A bit different than a ‘power ballad,’ though.

NBC’s Jimmy Fallon chose the Ducks on his Late Night program, along with performer Sebastian Bach. Oregon already takes the field led by the Duck on a motorcycle; the only thing they were missing was a ballad obviously.

Fallon hits the entry head on, and then Bach does a remarkable job with the song, while reminding everyone – “Don’t F**k with the Ducks.” If you haven’t watched it, you need to.

We’ll have to see if the song pays off in the end. Tune into the title game, Monday night at 8:30 on ESPN.
